3-6 Month internships available.

The objective of this internship will be to learn about the overall function of the gallery space (an artist run), from day-to-day organizational tasks to broader projects such as archiving inventory and liaising with artists, galleries and collectors. An important aspect of this role is to learn and engage with the function of the gallery in its local community. We present art and ideas in an open space for exhibitions, events and discussion. The internship will involve learning about, and being responsible for, the distribution of artists’ work on many platforms: online, via social media and through preparing and organizing works to travel to art fairs and international exhibitions. Through the programming of events and exhibitions in the gallery, an intern will understand (in detail) the work (and process) of artists represented/exhibiting in the gallery and learn about how contemporary art ideas and projects can be translated into an open commercial space.
